The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The public is advised that, as part of routine testing, HM Naval Base will be testing its Nuclear Emergency Response Organisation (NERO) alarm.
Testing is scheduled to take place on Friday 23rd February between 0900 hrs and 1400 hrs. Members of the public should not be concerned, and no action is required.

Registered Dietitian and Doctoral candidate at the Department of Population Health Sciences at Newcastle University Hannah Jones is conducting research on the dietary habits in a number of UK Overseas Territories.
