The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The Three Kings’ Cavalcade will take place along Main Street on Friday 5th January 2024 at 7.30pm. Sweets will be handed out to members of the public at Casemates Square and Main Street as from 7pm.
The Ministry for Justice, Trade, and Industry have announced the appointment of Emma Zammitt as the new Senior Executive to Gibraltar Finance. In this capacity, Emma will be responsible for one of the most senior positions within the Financial Services Ministry.
