Officers from the RGP Operations Division currently investigating recent instances of Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour in the area of Glacis Estate have carried out several arrests. These follow an incident of Violent Disorder at Glacis Estate last Friday, where seven individuals were arrested by RGP Response Team officers and where bladed weapons were seized.
The Blue Light Association says it is “disappointed” by the comments made by Mr. Richard Ullger, the Commissioner of Police in his press release of 11th February 2024 in relation to the Gibraltar Police Federation Survey.
The public is advised that, as part of routine testing, HM Naval Base will be testing its Nuclear Emergency Response Organisation (NERO) alarm.
Testing is scheduled to take place on Friday 23rd February between 0900 hrs and 1400 hrs. Members of the public should not be concerned, and no action is required.
