Jan 04 - Three Kings Cavalcade's 60th Anniversary

The 60th anniversary of the Three Kings Cavalcade will be marked with a total of seven floats, three walking floats will make up the Cavalcade together with the traditional Miss Gibraltar and her two Princesses, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Band and the Sea Scouts Pipe and Drum Band.

The Three Kings Cavalcade will take place tomorrow Thursday 5th January 2017 as from 7.30pm from Casemates Square. Gibraltar Cultural Services will be handing out sweets up Main Street as from 7.15pm together with La Patisserie who will be handing out cakes to mark the anniversary.

A spokesman for the Cavalcade Committee said: "The Three Kings floats have this year suffered lots of damage and thanks to the Sea Scouts Explorer Unit, the floats have been able to be repaired and given a facelift.

"The Three Kings Cavalcade Committee is extremely grateful to the Explorer Unit who have managed to pull this project through, in a very short period of time, as part of their community service."

The Organising Committee urges the community to help the 60th Anniversary Cavalcade to be a memorable one by supporting the event and lining up along Main Street.
