Priya spent years of dreaming of becoming a writer - the problem was dreaming of becoming a writer wasn’t going to pay for her designer handbag addiction. She switched to media studies from law at university, moved to London and realised that journalism was her thing, and it could pay for her shopping habit. Since then she has worked at the Gibraltar Magazine, the Chronicle and Barclays, moving back and forth to London. Priya missed the beach too much so she made Gibraltar her permanent home a few years ago. In her spare time she sells famous chicken tikka rolls at a well-known local establishment.
