The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

Representatives from the University of Gibraltar attended a meeting designed to strengthen links between universities in small countries and territories. The meeting was at the direct invite of Miquel Nicolau i Vila, Vice-Chancellor (Rector) of Universitat d’Andorra who hosted the event.
The GSD has today called on Government to explain why it has felt the need to implement a Zone 2 residents parking scheme in relation to the parking bays at the Ragged Staff end of Queensway and nearest the City walls at the car park adjacent to Commonwealth park. The party says that, with the midtown car park often full by 9.00 am, the GSD is receiving an increasing number of complaints that it is proving impossible for commuters to find parking in the morning.
