The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Gibraltar Financial Intelligence Unit (GFIU) has recently been engaged in international collaboration with its counterparts from the Crown Dependencies (Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey). The Director of the GFIU, Edgar Lopez, has chaired the Quad Island Forum since June 2022.
The Ministry of Equality in conjunction with the Gibraltar Garrison Library last night marked International Women’s Day with a panel discussion event, ‘Inspire Inclusion’. Panelists for the evening were Rebecca Figueras, Senior Youth Worker and Hannah Mifsud, playwright, creative and tutor at the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts (GAMPA) and the discussion was moderated by Adriana Lopez.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, received an artwork donation by Abdelkrim Ouazzani as part of the Gibraltar / Tangier exchange and its latest initiative, ‘Isthmus’.
