The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia has said that the inclusion of Clause 24 in their negotiating guidelines by the European Council was a “shameful betrayal” of the 96% of Gibraltar that voted to remain in the European Union. Dr Garcia made these comments in an address to students attending Bayside and Westside Schools and the College of Further Education.
The GSD Opposition says it notes with concern the announcement made by NASUWT, the Gibraltar Teachers’ Association, that classroom temperatures as low as 10 degrees have been recorded this week. The Opposition says that it is equally worrying that even after an hour’s worth of heaters use the classroom temperature only rose to 13 degrees.
