The Gibraltar Dialysis Patients and Friends Association says it welcomes the announcement made by the Government of Gibraltar in connection with the extension of opening times of the Douglas Ferro Dialysis Unit to deliver Haemodialysis treatment to patients from three days a week to six day a week.
Gibraltar Cultural Services and the Gibraltar Youth Service, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, the Media, Youth and Sport will be organising a Youth Open Day as part of the first ever Youth Arts Jamboree. The event will be held at the Central Hall on Saturday 10th March 2018 from 10am to 5pm.
Two local men aged 24 and 22 have been arrested in La Linea by officers of Spain’s Cuerpo Nacional de Policia, on the strength of European Arrest Warrants issued in Gibraltar.
The GSD has said that, while it is to be welcomed that the Spanish Foreign Minister, Alfonso Dastis, has said to the Financial Times that sovereignty is not the issue in Brexit talks over Gibraltar “it is clear that Spain may harbour aspirations in respect of the airport or trade that should raise caution in Gibraltar.”
