Yesterday evening a host of candidates received their National Beach Lifeguard Qualifications and Life Support 3 certificates following a successful Summer of patrolling Gibraltar’s beaches, under the Gibraltar Tourist Board.

A retrospective exhibition celebrating the life and work of Mario Finlayson – known as the doyen of local artists – opened yesterday evening at the Gustavo Bacarisas Galleries in Casemates.
The former Commissioner of Police, Louis Wink, has joined the GSD Executive following a meeting earlier this week. This morning, the party introduced Mr Wink to the local press at a conference held at its headquarters in College Lane.
