The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Number Six has said that the Opposition do not seem to remember that the allocation of Government contracts is limited to the Approved Contractor List on the terms and conditions introduced by the GSD themselves when they were in Government. This, says the Government, remains unchanged.

The GSD says it has received a number of complaints about the allocation of a contract to Bizzy Bee Limited in excess of £1.5 million for the renewal of (amongst other things) pavements in Varyl Begg Estate. Complainants have reportedly told the Opposition that there were lower bids for the project.
