At the invitation of the Commissioner of Police Richard Ullger, the Small Islands Forum (Chief Police Officers from Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar) met in New Mole House on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th February to discuss key law enforcement issues impacting upon their communities.

The Government regrets the continued manipulation by the GSD Opposition of the Principal Auditor’s Report to politicise and undermine the work of the Government and of the Public Service. The Auditor’s work is undermined by the attempt from the Opposition to exploit his work for Party political purposes.

Over the last few weeks you will have heard a lot about the conclusions of the Principal Auditor’s reports for 2016-2018. These have provided a glimpse into a catalogue of waste and abuse and a Government that is unwilling to provide real transparency and obstructs scrutiny all the time.
