The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
At a short award ceremony yesterday at New Mole House the Commissioner of Police Eddie Yome presented Officers and civilian support staff of the Royal Gibraltar Police with course certificates on completion of a number of training events delivered by the CIPD.
Although things tend to ease off during the summer there is always something happening with the Duke of Edinburgh International Award in Gibraltar, as local representatives have been invited to attend international conferences.
Opposition MP Elliott Phillips has given notice of a private member’s motion in which he calls on the Government to ensure that Gibraltar’s courts and judiciary are “appropriately resourced.”
