The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Opposition says it has been approached by interested parties concerned that, notwithstanding the Government’s recent announcement that Part VII transfers could now take place between UK and Gibraltar insurers, the position is “still less than certain.”

The Government is pleased to announce that as part of its ongoing refurbishment programme throughout Gibraltar, phase two of the works at Varyl Begg Estate is scheduled to commence next Monday 17th November. This will include road resurfacing, new paving and line painting to demarcate parking bays.
Moroccan national airline, Royal Air Maroc, will launch services between the northern city of Tangier and Gibraltar on 29 March 2015. This new service will provide the first air link since the 1990s between both cities with a long joint history and whose air links historically date back to the 1930s.
