The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
A Gala dinner hosted by Gibraltar’s Minister for Tourism Gilbert Licudi was held at the Caleta Hotel last night. The night proved a great success and included a surprise performance from the Gibraltar Youth Choir directed by Christian Santos from the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts.

This week, Prior Park School played host to Mr John Coombes, Assistant Head at The British School in the Netherlands. The purpose of Mr Coombes’ visit was to conduct a compliance inspection on behalf of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and to assess the school based on a set of five standards.
Fire Control Operator (FCO) Joseph Stagno has joined the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) Emergency Control room team. Mr Stagno has successfully completed the FCO’s induction training programme conducted locally.
