Only one person has been fined for dog fouling since September last year. Apart from this single positive result, a further 24 samples of dog faeces were collected from September to December 2017 but these all came from dogs which have not been registered on the DNA database.
A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm. The verdict was delivered at the end of a Supreme Court trial this afternoon.
