The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Government has confirmed that the proposed exemption to the smoking ban will only apply to a small area within the Casino, measuring some 10% of the Casino floor space. In effect, it says, the small area will be glassed in with strong air extraction equipment for the locating of slot machines, and without any other service being available in the space.
