The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Yesterday marked the 70th anniversary of the RAF Wellington Bomber HF 394 (X) crash landing ion the Gibraltar runway, with a crew of five from 179 Squadron RAF. Sgt Charles Bradburn was part of the crew who survived the crash landing and went on to record the incident in his Airmans Log Book.
His son Malcolm remembers his fathers’ war stories but he was unaware of the log book until Charles passed away in 1996 aged 78. Malcolm said.
In just 30 days time the Glasgow 2014 Queen's Baton Relay will arrive from Malta the 63rd country of its 71 Commonwealth destinations. Gibraltar will provide an integral link when it welcomes the baton as it travels on one of the most engaging relays in the world. The baton is currently travelling through Jamaica.
The Gibraltar FA will be holding a Junior Camp over the Easter school holidays. The camp will take place from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th of April starting at 0930hrs running through to 1230hrs, at the Victoria Stadium.
There is a maximum of 80 places available for children from the ages of 6 to 11yrs. The fee for the three days is £15.00 and this includes certificates and memento for each child at the end of the camp.
