The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

Conservative MEP Julie Girling has expressed her disappointment on hearing of lies perpetuated by her Lib Dem colleague Sir Graham Watson MEP.
Commenting on the matter, Mrs Girling said, ‘Earlier this week, Sir Graham released a press release which implied Conservatives voted against extending European air passenger rights to people flying in and out of Gibraltar.
In late July of this year, Spain imposed a regime of heightened and arbitrary searches and delays at the Gibraltar frontier. Most commentators, including myself, predicted that the restrictions would not be imposed for long. As 2013 draws to a close, why then do we still see considerable disruption at the frontier?
