The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
This morning the BBC One Breakfast show featured a video report on the Gibraltar Barbary Macaques, and the Government’s efforts to remove them from urban areas on the Rock, and send them back up to the nature reserve.
Having returned to the Naval Ground site, this year’s Gibraltar Fair will commence tomorrow evening, with a walk around by Miss Gibraltar’s Second Princess Claire Nunez and Culture Minister Steven Linares.
The Family Pavilion, once again hosted by Stage One, promises a varied and entertaining line up of performances throughout the week, including, The Trio at 9:30pm on Saturday evening. The cover band is made up of music students Jeremy Perez, Rob Bensusan and Jesse McLaren.
The USS Annapolis (SSN-760), a Los Angeles-class submarine in the US Navy, is currently in Gibraltar. The sub is the fourth ship of the United States Navy to be named after Annapolis, Maryland, which is the site of the United States Naval Academy.
