The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
During this morning’s Parliament session, a motion was passed to extend the Mayor’s tenure to the end of the financial year. The motion was supported by both sides of the house, with the Chief Minister noting that there was no question that current Mayor Tony Lima had done anything other than a perfect job as mayor, as others have done before him.

The Guardia Civil vessel Rio Tormes patrolled the area next to the runway off Western Beach this morning. This comes following an incident yesterday in which a Government contracted tug boat was stopped by the Guardia Civil from dropping concrete blocks to form an artificial reef.
