The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following the RGP/GDP seizure of 570 kilos of Cannabis Resin at sea on the 6th September both defendants have since appeared in court and pleaded guilty.

A meeting was held between Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and UK Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond, in advance of the traditional Gibraltar Reception held during the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham. The men discussed a number of ‘topical Gibraltar issues of mutual interest’.
