According to an article published today by The Express, Spanish Fishermen are to "plot a blockade". It goes on to say that up to 200 boats plan to block the port here in Gibraltar as a retaliation to the artificial reef that is being created, which Spain's government says is illegal.
The Government has noted the statement issued by Spain's Interior Ministry this morning, condemning a Spanish website for publishing photographs of law enforcement agents at the Gibraltar-Spain frontier while urging people to take action against them.
Several of Gibraltar’s children’s playgrounds have gone through extensive refurbishment programmes under the GSLA, over the past few weeks, these include the playgrounds in St Joseph’s and Vineyards estates.
The biggest project has been the playground in Cathedral Square in front of the Anglican Cathedral. Here, all the old equipment has been removed and replaced with brand-new facilities. The playground’s benches have been refurbished and a special rubber flooring has been laid so as to minimise accidents.
