The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The RGP Charity Committee will be holding a BBQ/Treasure Hunt on the 12th September 2014. The Treasure Hunt will commence at 8pm at the International Police Association Club beside the Central Hall.
A fee of £10 per participant is required for this event that will take participants around Gibraltar. A vehicle per team is advisable. The event is being held in aid of Miss Gibraltar’s ‘Sky Jump’ in aid of charity that is due to be held later on this month.

The Gibraltar Tourist Board has announced that it will no longer be producing a printed monthly Calendar of Events as has been the case for many years. Instead, the information will be compiled and collated on its website www.visitgibraltar.gi with regular updates to ensure the information is up to the minute and readily available.
The GSD has described the statement by Minister Linares on GBC last week that Victoria stadium is only being upgraded to a UEFA Category 2.8 Stadium as “extraordinary” adding that it illustrates that the Government “simply appear intent on ploughing ahead” with its plans to build the stadium at Europa Point despite the availability of alternatives.
