The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The OS 35 Recovery Coordination Group met this afternoon at No 6 Convent Place. The meeting was chaired by Minister for the Port Vijay Daryanani and was attended by the Captain of the Port and representatives from stakeholder departments and agencies.
The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo together with the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia this afternoon met with the new UK Minister for Europe Leo Docherty MP. The new Foreign Secretary James Cleverly later briefly joined the meeting.
Cadets from the No.2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron Air Training Corps were surprised with a visit from Commander British Forces Gibraltar, Commodore Tom Guy, last Thursday.
