The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following the introduction of traffic lights to allow parking on parts of Sir Herbert Miles Road it has been noted by the RGP that cars are occasionally parking indiscriminately, particularly at weekends.
The force insists that the parking arrangements are in place in signed areas between 11am and 9pm in order to assist users of Sandy Bay by providing additional parking spaces.
