The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Yesterday saw the launch of a new law to regulate Allied Health Practitioners in Gibraltar. New legislation will see 23 professions regulated by the UK based ‘Health and Care Professions Council’, the ‘General Chiropractic Council’ and the ‘General Osteopathic Council’. Former RSM of the Regiment, Alex Stone has been selected for a Late Entry Commission and is now an Officer in the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
Captain Stone has been in the Regiment for 24 years and has been working within Headquarters British Forces for the past 10 months, following his commission he will continue with his role as Training Officer for Command.
