The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Gibraltar Contingency Council (GCC) met yesterday afternoon at No 6 Convent Place to review security and civil contingency matters. The meeting was co-chaired by His Excellency the Governor Sir David Steel and the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo. Minister for Civil Contingencies Leslie Bruzon and Minister for Health and Care Gemma Arias-Vasquez also attended.
Gibraltar’s beaches will be operating limited Lifeguard and Beach attendance services as from Easter this year. Lifeguards will be deployed at all beaches during the Easter weekend and all weekends thereafter until the summer bathing season officially begins.
