The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Marking World Autism Day yesterday evening, autism sufferer Andrew lit the Parliament in blue to raise awareness on the issue. The event was attended by Ministers Sacramento, Cortes and Licudi, along with Social Services staff handing out informative leaflets on the condition. The blue hue will be turned on every evening until Sunday to help people remember the message.
The Gibraltar/La Linea Cross Frontier Group met with the Minister for Europe David Lidington MP this morning to update him on their campaign to raise awareness of the measures taken by the Spanish government which prevents the free movement of EU citizens.

The GSD Opposition says that it fully supports UEFA football in Gibraltar as it demonstrated while in Government in its support for the GFA Team 54 UEFA bid. It has however today urged the Government to give the location of the proposed new UEFA stadium “further thought” and to “take heed” of public opinion on the matter.
