The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The GSD opposition notes and welcomes the Gibraltar Government’s commitment to the Tourism and Maritime sectors, as explained by the Minister of Tourism at a breakfast briefing at the Trinity House in London, which was also attended by the Leader of the Opposition, Daniel Feetham. This was very much GSD policy at the time that the party was in Government.

From the moment that the bank made its recent announcement to radically reduce its services in Gibraltar, the party highlighted what it considers as the important issues which required to be tackled as matters of priority, namely the employees’ future and the banking service requirements of our community, such as mortgage lending.
Marking the 208th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, the traditional Act of Remembrance was held in the Trafalgar Cemetery. Wreaths were placed on the graves of those who died as a result of the Battle by Commander Steve Thomas.
