The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following an investigation by the RGP’s Money Laundering Investigation Unit dating back to April 2017, two local persons - Kyra Perez, age 22, and Mark Macias, age 25 - have been charged with money laundering offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service together with the Housing Department and the Housing Works Agency, and observed by the RGP, conducted a successful controlled fire training exercise at Referendum House, Glacis Estate this morning.
