The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
A new wave of stamps depicting endemic flowers of Gibraltar has been issued by the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau and the Government. Endemic species are those, which are found exclusively in a particular area. The stamps feature the Gibraltar Candytuft, a branched perennial, the Gibraltar Champion, a woody-based perennial.

The GSLA Summer Sports & Leisure Programme sponsored by NatWest was in full swing down at the GSLA pool today. Swimming courses aimed at non-swimmers between the ages of 4 and 8 were led by Damina Chang-Chipolina and her helpers, Kaylan Payas, Nicholas Massa and Aiden Carroll. These teaching clinics are aimed at improving water confidence, as well as learning the basics of different swimming techniques.
30 year old local woman, Francesca Gosnay of Mallard House has been sentenced to a term of imprisonment following an incident which occurred on the 6th May 2013.
