The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Deputy Leader of the GSD, Mr Damon Bossino, has today written to the Chief Minister seeking answers to questions relating to the appointment of Mr Albert Mena as the Financial Secretary. The GSD says it considers this to be “an issue of significant public importance” given the important role, which the Financial Secretary plays in terms of Gibraltar’s finances.
The Leisure Centre’s Rock Bastion Restaurant will host the first Christmas Craft Fair of the festive season. To be held on Saturday November 22nd from 11am to 6pm between both the Youth lounge and Boyds, the events will offer over thirty stalls presenting handmade products, children’s activities including a bouncy castle, face painting and a Disney Christmas Photo booth.
The Gibraltar Football Association has today launched its Internet based television channel, GibraltarFA TV, to be found on Youtube. Viewers and fans will be able to catch up on full length First Division Matches from the GFA’s Domestic League, as well as a host of other content relating to different areas of the Association. The GFA is set to expand their sights further as the season progresses.
