The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following Tuesday’s power cut, over the lunchtime period, it has been reported that a main live electricity cable was cut at the North Gorge. The RGP were informed of a person seen driving away from the scene.
As a result of the investigation into an Attempted Robbery which took place on Monday afternoon at a shop in the southern part of Main Street, the man who was being kept in police custody has now been charged.
