The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
With the Gibraltar Jazz Festival’s third annual installment reaching us very soon, music and gastronomy have joined forces with a dinner event set to be hosted by the Sunborn Gibraltar, along with the Ministry for Culture and Gibraltar Jazz Society. Kicking off the Jazz Festival’s remarkable line up next week, the meal, at the Sunborn’s Sky Restaurant will include a 3-course meal with musical entertainment performed by The Nightshift Quintet, for the price of £37.50.
The Gibraltar Honours Board is receiving nominations for the Gibraltar Award New Year 2015 and for the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2015. The Board would like to invite the public to forward nominations by Monday 10th November for consideration at the next Board meeting.
The Gibraltar Youth Service has been working on a partnership project with the Royal Gibraltar Police with a group of young people from Plater Youth Club. The Charity Committee of the Royal Gibraltar Police approached the Principal Youth Officer earlier this year and offered to fund a Residential weekend for young people.
