The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

Launching the 2013 Summer Sports and Leisure Programme this afternoon, Regional Director of NatWest Gibraltar, David Bruce, along with Sports Minister Steven Linares and CEO of the GSLA, Joe Hernandez, promised that this year’s scheme would ‘bigger and better’ then ever before.
The scheme, which has proved immensely popular amongst youngsters in former years, will not only provide an extensive selection of sporting activities to entertain school children during the Summer holidays, but will also include new workshops with the Royal Gibraltar Police, Childline and the Alameda Gardens. The programme also boasts a Stagecoach Theatre Arts Summer School.
HM Customs Gibraltar hosted a high level delegation from the Afghan Ministry of Finance and Customs Department during the period 17-22 June.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate HM Customs Gibraltar’s implementation of the UNCTAD Asycuda system and the development of e-government modules, to discuss common initiatives and legislation and to share experiences.
The Ministry for the Elderly and the Ministry for Public Transport wish to inform users of the Route 7 bus service to Mount Alvernia that, with effect from Tuesday 9 July, the bus service will start 1 hour earlier at 10 am instead of 11 am. This follows a request from the Friends of Mount Alvernia to Minister Sacramento.
