The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Chief Minister, the Hon Fabian Picardo, will leave Gibraltar this Sunday in order to attend the Labour Party Conference in Brighton. He will return on Monday evening.
Whilst he is away, the Deputy Chief Minister, the Hon Joseph Garcia, will act as Chief Minister.
As the Gibraltar Football Association finds itself busier and busier, local support continues to reign with Sports Minister Steven Linares today unveiling a post-box hand painted in GFA colours emblazoned with the club’s badge.
Tomorrow sees Gibraltar’s 9th participation in the inspiring global Clean up the World campaign. This Sunday, as from 1pm, The Gibraltar Gaels will host a free Open Day at the Victoria Stadium, in order to showcase Gaelic Football to prospective players in Gibraltar.
The team holds the title for current Andalucían Gaelic Football Champions and will begin training for the season ahead in the coming weeks. The Gaels encourage anyone of any ability, to come along and try out.
