The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Answering further questions today about the ever-escalating dispute between Gibraltar and Spain, UK Prime Minister David Cameron refused to rule out taking further action against Spain, including putting constraints on Spanish tourists coming to Britain.
The Telegraph has today reported that Mr. Cameron’s spokesman noted that their preference is to resolve the matter via political means and through dialogue with the Spanish Government.
Organisers of this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival are giving the public an opportunity to vote for the local acts that they wish to see perform on the main stage.
GBC claims that the performers in the running include popular band Headwires, This Side Up, Metro Motel, Adrian Pisarello, Paragon, Surianne Dalmedo and Hollie Buhagiar. Three of these acts will be chosen to open for Emeli Sande, as well as other internationally renown acts.
