Aug 25 - RGP question Guardia Civil Divers
The Royal Gibraltar Police this afternoon responded to reports of divers in the area of the Western Anchorage where the artificial reef was recently laid. The divers in question were seen to be members of a Guardia Civil diving squad. They were questioned about their activities and they claimed to be searching for computer equipment which had been lost during Sunday’s operation to deal with the fishing protest. They were asked to leave the area and they complied with the request continuing to dive in Spanish waters north of the Spanish breakwater.

Aug 23 - Opposition Welcomes Government Announcement to Amend Nature Protection Act
The GSD Opposition has today welcomed the Chief Minister’s insistence to both local and Spanish press that the Government is planning to amend the 1991 Nature Protection Act ‘in order to allow Spanish Fishermen to fish with nets in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.’
Aug 23 - Gibraltar Hotels Sold Out for Music Festival Weekend
The Government has today announced that a limited number of seated tickets for the Gibraltar Music Festival, are still available, as are general entry tickets. Parents are reminded that children aged 12 and under can get in for free and tickets are available to ticket-holding parents and guardians from the John Mackintosh Hall between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday.
