The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
A planned strike by Spanish hauliers and a price rise across the border have driven the panic buying of petrol from local outlets today with queues of vehicles often disrupting the flow of traffic. However, the Government says that local companies have contingency measures in place and the impact of the strike is expected to be “minimal.”
