The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
As part of Operation GibWatch, on the 1st of December, the Royal Gibraltar Police will be launching a crime awareness and safety advice campaign in the lead up to this year’s festive season.
Flying small-unmanned aircraft, including radio controlled helicopters and drones are not allowed to be flown in Gibraltar without the permission of the Director of Civil Aviation. The department has stated that with the recent rise in popularity of these ‘toys’, it must be noted that there are Civil Aviation Regulations that apply to the use of these aircraft, in order to ensure the safety of the general public.
