The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Subject to suitable weather conditions, an aerial survey of Gibraltar will be undertaken today and Sunday when a Cessna 404 aircraft will make two flights over the Rock at altitudes of between 1,000 and 2,500 feet.
Shortly after midnight on Friday the 9th of August officers of the Royal Gibraltar Police detained four local men and arrested them for tobacco offences.
A cheque presentation took place this afternoon at the Mamma Mia restaurant. Bianca Zammit from Glamour Creations handed over a £600 cheque to Kevin Hook from the Guardian Angel Foundation.
