The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

The Government has said that, although the risk of encountering a case of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Gibraltar is “extremely remote”, first level precautions are in place and vigilance continues to be maintained on the Rock as the deadly virus spreads across Africa.
Following months of data collection and two visits to the border, the European Commission has said that Spain’s frontier checks are “disproportionate”.
