The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

"Following the latest escalation by the Spanish Government over Gibraltar with the Spanish Foreign Minister threatening a range of actions including blocking of the peninsula's airspace, William Dartmouth, UKIP Euro MP for Gibraltar has said, “It is time that the Government pulled its finger out and stopped mouthing diplomatic niceties to Madrid. It is becoming obvious that the Spanish Prime Minister, caught up in a corruption scandal and with a tanking economy with over 50% of their youth out of work needs a distraction, and their futile claims over Gibraltar seem to fit his bill.
This year the Fancy Dress Competition will be held by the Lobby of Parliament, Main Street, on Saturday 10 September 2013 and is open to everyone aged 15 and under.
Registration forms can be collected and handed back in when completed, from the Ministry of Culture, 310 Main Street, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 2pm. They will be available as from Monday 5th August to Monday 9th September 2013.

A report covering Sr. Margallo’s insistence that heavy set backs may be employed by the Spanish Government in an attempt to help fishermen who have been affected by the ‘destruction of fishing grounds’ in Gibraltar, states that the UK reasserted its ties following Margallo’s comment, saying that it wanted to continue its strong relation ship with Spain.
The international press coverage of Gibraltar's tense situation with Spain continues with The Express releasing an article yesterday titled "Spain Rocks the boat: Britain furious as Foreign Office warning on Gibraltar ignored".
The article outlines the recent summoning of Spain's ambassador to the Foreign Office. It states that "Britain reacted with fury last night after Spain flouted an official Foreign Office reprimand by imposing further border controls".
