The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Calpe Band is hosting a Christmas Concert on Thursday 18th December at 8pm at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in conjunction with Sacred Heart Middle School Choir. The band will be led by its conductor Miguel Gomila.
In response to an article written in Irish Independent Group publication, The Argus, reporting on Irish bookmaker Boylesports move to Gibraltar, the Chief Minister has corrected the journalist’s comment that Gibraltar is a ‘British controlled Spanish Territory’.

Minister for Equality, Samantha Sacramento last week attended meetings in London as part of her role on the regional committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Women (CPW).
Amongst other things, this committee seeks to find ways of increasing female representation in parliament but, in this most recent meeting, there was also discussion of a CPW regional conference to be held in Gibraltar in February 2015.
