The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
This week, the Gibraltar Financial Intelligence Unit (GFIU) held a strategic meeting with the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) called the Financial Liaison and Intelligence Network (FLINT), which comprises of the local Banking sector, Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, Royal Gibraltar Police and HM Customs.

The late Edith Dawson has donated £68,679 to the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society (GADS). The donation was presented on September 12th by her executors, Douglas Vickers, her close friend, and Charles Gomez, along with her solicitor Daniel Benyunes. The donation was handed over to Jeanette Ochello, Chair of GADS, at the offices of Charles Gomez & Co.
