The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Commissioner of Police Eddie Yome has undertaken a series of meetings and presentations throughout this week in various countries as President of the European Association of Airport and Seaport Police (EAASP).
Mr. Yome initially travelled to Athens where he met the Director Aliens Police & HCG at the Hellenic Police Headquarters where he provided a presentation on the work of the EAASP.

The Government’s Chief Technical Officer, Mr Michael Gil recent retired after 11 years in post. The Government thanked Mr. Gil for his ‘invaluable contribution to the Public Service’, with years as a Graduate Civil Engineer within the Public Works Department.
