Below follows a joint statement on the progress of the EU-UK Agreement in respect of Gibraltar:
European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo met in Brussels on Friday 12 April.
The Gibraltar Heritage Trust announced yesterday evening the recipients of this year’s Heritage Awards. This year, two group Heritage Awards, two individual Heritage Awards and two special commendations were awarded.
Next Friday, the Gibraltar Live Music Society (GLMS) will launch a new online show called #StraightOuttaGibraltar. The GLMS had already recorded a pilot episode back in July with local band Angelwings but will now be bringing listeners a show once a week with all the very best in local music from the past and present – the show will then become a monthly feature.
The Royal Gibraltar Regiment will be conducting a training exercise on the South Mole. Approximately 40 soldiers will participate in the exercise which will take place from this coming Friday 11 November to Sunday 13 November.
The GSD has invited members of the public to get in touch with its Members of Parliament or the GSD headquarters to let them know what issues they would like the GSD to consider putting forward for debate in Parliament.
