A family fun day organised by the Royal Gibraltar Police recruits has raised more then £5,000 for drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity Stay Clean, with more money to come.
A family fun day organised by the Royal Gibraltar Police recruits has raised more then £5,000 for drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity Stay Clean, with more money to come.
The GSD says it notes the invitation by the Government for expressions of interest in the former Central Police Station Building at Irish Town. The party says the former Central Police Station “is an iconic and beautiful building” and the GSD believes that there is a real opportunity to retain it in public ownership for the purposes of housing all tribunals. The GSD believes that with “sensitive and careful development” of this historic property, it could be used as a central hub for all tribunals such as the Industrial Tribunal , Rent Review Tribunal and Social Security Tribunal to name but a few.
The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo is paying an official visit to Cadiz tomorrow. On arrival he will be met by the President of the Diputación de Cadiz, Doña Irene Garcia of the PSOE.
In a hearing held on Thursday 14 April 2016 in the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Mr Anthony Dudley, has decided to make a preliminary reference to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. This is the first time that a court in Gibraltar makes a preliminary reference to the European Court.
