Officers from the RGP Operations Division currently investigating recent instances of Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour in the area of Glacis Estate have carried out several arrests. These follow an incident of Violent Disorder at Glacis Estate last Friday, where seven individuals were arrested by RGP Response Team officers and where bladed weapons were seized.
The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares, accompanied by Miss Gibraltar Hannah Bado, will officially inaugurate the Gibraltar Fair on Saturday 22nd August at 8.30pm. The Minister will also be accompanied by the organising team from the SDGG and the Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS). The Fair will be held at Cormorant and Romney Hut Car parks in Queensway.

The Gibraltar Office in Brussels has today been asked to relay information to the European Commission on the latest pedestrian delays at the border caused by the introduction of an Automated Border Control system on the Spanish side. Number Six says that these systems are designed to improve the fluidity of traffic across borders adding that “they are not meant to make things worse.”
